Basel is and offers “Culture Unlimited”. We are totally committed to this vision and ensure with our sales, PR and marketing activities that the special features and attractions of our city are known way beyond the Swiss border.

The continuous increase in hotel room occupancy over the past few years is partly due to the increase in direct flights to the city by companies such as EasyJet and Swiss and the excellent range of cultural activities going on in the city. However, there is no doubt that our activities have also had a large role in contributing to the positive development of regional commerce and industry. Membership of Basel Tourism helps us to  continue doing this work.
